Default WAD Blackberry Storm VGA Mock-up? What do you think?

Hi guys

I decided my old axim x51v needed a face lift, and I like the look of the Blackberry Storm GUI, so I have made up these mock up screens that I will convert over the next few days in to buttons and docks etc... Just wanted to see what every one thought.

Here is the main today screen page, I have taken out SMS, Camera & Media as I don't use them, however will add them in, in the final package...

The next image is the main menu area, I have left the SMS, Camera, Video as I wanted this one to be the same as the original...

I used Macromedia Fireworks, and Blackberry Storm icons found via google...

Cheers

Jace

Hi guys

Well Today I have been working on the set up of my Blackberry Storm VGA theme on my Axim X51v, so far I really like it here are some screen shots of my Ax, I will try and do a video to show the sliding effects etc...

First pic is on the main screen (Desktop) this has the main apps that I use, the battery indicater is at the top left, the green signal strength is Wifi on, as is the Wifi button underneath. the Message red indicator shows email in outlook, I also used this option for both the Bluetooth and Wifi to show at a glance they are both on, when pressed both open their own Managers. By clicking on Calendar it takes you to another page - see next PIC.2, the application button will take you to another page also. see PIC 3.

PIC. 1

THe Diary pages has the Agenda script, I tried to add my SPB Diary however I am using a black bacground and could not see the text as it was showing as black...EDIT: Well da, just changed the theme colour in SPB Mobile Shell to black and bingo the text change to white so will use that now instead of the Agenda script...

PIC. 2

THe last page I have is the application screen I personaly didn't want to many pages something nice and easy...

PIC. 3

I will hopefully have this completed and bundled into folders, for some people to Beta test for me so if you are interested please advise me...

Cheers

I really like the look of your theme and want to give it a shot but my phone is QVGA so if you want I would be willing to help convert over to QVGA. If you are interested PM me and let me know.

Happy to test for you. I am using a HTC Touch HD but recently converted a VGA theme to WVGA theme.

Happy to convert this as it looks nice. Email address is on my website.

Default WAD2 Blackberry Storm Theme, Beta...

Hi Guys

I have tweaked mine enough now, I didn't use the Grid system instead just lined buttons up where I wanted them to go, on my final go I have moved up the email nofication, clock & date, bluetooth and wifi info closer to the top of the screen... may post a look of the main screen and dairy again when I can.

The ZIP file includes all Buttons, pre made and transperant, I can make more if required or you can make you own I think there are the blank buttons included... Wallpapers x3, a few docks (i decided not to use), battery for extended (again I decided not to use).

I will also included the exported theme file from my Axim, I saved the folder into my Wisbar Advance Desktop theme folder... EDIT: unable to attach this at the moment... will try again soon...

Please let me know how it goes and post some picks...
