I decided to make a portrait theme to kill time before the new WAD comes out and I release my other theme(see sig). I will release this tomorrow or Monday once I get off of work so I can do some minor touchups before the release. This was made for my Omnia so its WQVGA.


-HomeScreen
-HomeScreen with status icons
-"My Computer shortcut in start menu. Meters are signal and battery.
- "Games" shortcut in start menu.


-Start Menu
-Windows Media center
-"Task Manager"- Based on the running tasks, a screenshot is shown of your running tasks, tapping the image opens the task. There are some faults in this, I will explain when I release the theme.
-"Windows Live Messenger"- Messaging dock with password input



-"Windows Live Messenger"- Messaging dock after correct password is entered
-Music Search script- The user inputs the song title and then you are asked whether or not you want to play the song.
- Slideshow link in Windows Media Center(It is possible to render user images in WAD but there are some restrictions)
- Lock screen with password input

For the script links to work copy. "Mortscript TaskSwticher" to "\Storage Card\Scripts" and the "Scripts" folder to the same location. Please read the documentation pertaining to the scripts before you run any of them. This will prevent any unwanted problems.

Almost forgot. The default password for the messaging dock is 0000. The default password for the lock screen is 1111.

I apoligize to some of the causual users out there. I realized that the way I did my scripts made it so that it would'nt work on other devices. Unless you know mortscript you would'nt know how to fix it. I updated the documentation and changed the scripts to be more user friendly. If you have any questions. Please feel free to ask.

I am playing with this skin on my Omnia i910. Pretty cool! One thing I found is that when I opened the Favorites, the image covered up the Favorites icon and I could not make the Favorites go away (I didn't select an item, that would have worked I assume).

Before I ask some questions, let me say I didn't install any of the Mortscripts, as I am interested in how the WAD parts work. I am new to WAD and so I am looking at skins to see how folks do things.

Can you explain how the battery meter works? I can see the various batteryx_overlay and batteryx_background, but how do they work with the main image? I did an enhanced meter, but it had only one background and one overlay.

Also, I see you have a mix of TGA and PNG images. Is there a reason that needs to be so, or was it just convenient for you?

the mix of icons is just by accident. tga icons look good but are taxing on a device. my bad about the favorites menu i fixed it after i exported the theme the battery is actually 8 different meters. i did this to give the illusion of a circle. so you would have to do all 8 for it to work the same
